ED SALLIE
We’re very pleased to have Ed Sallie as Director of Instruction and Lead Instructor for the Timber Point teaching staff once again for the 2018 season!
Ed has been helping players of all ages and ability levels to improve their games for more than 25 years. One of Ed’s greatest assets as an instructor is his ability to personally connect with students and communicate points clearly and effectively. He is patient and versatile, emphasizes simple over complicated, with a focus on solid fundamentals. Ed has had the good fortune to be personally instructed by some of the best teachers in golf and has incorporated these different influences into his own teaching style.
Ed is a fine player and has been a part of the Met PGA section competitive golf scene since childhood. He has competed at the junior, amateur, collegiate and professional levels on a local, regional and national basis. He’s had the opportunity to compete with some of the game’s finest players, and the privilege to play a number of the best courses in the world. He enjoys passing these experiences along to his students.
A Long Island native, Ed resides right here in Great River with his wife Linda and their three children.
